Republic F-105D “Thunderchief”

Republic F-105D 62-361 is a combat veteran of Vietnam. Flown by the 388th Tactical Fighter Wing, and 355th Tactical Fighter Wing she survived battle damage and bombing missions over North Vietnam. One of the last F-105Ds in service at Hill AFB, UT it was retired in 1984 and flown to Rickenbacker ANG base in OH. In 2002 we acquired the airframe from the USAF Museum and brought her home to Republic Airfield where it had been built. Today 62-361 is currently on static display on the AAM Flight Line and soon to be put into static restoration.
