VISIT THE AMERICAN AIRPOWER MUSEUM AT HISTORIC REPUBLIC AIRPORT

2014_HistoricRepubAirport01

Visit us at the historic Republic Airport in Farmingdale Long Island. Once the home of Fairchild(1926), Grumman(1932-1937), and Republic Aircraft(1931-1987) the Airport is one of the most historic sites in aviation history. Although Republic ended its legendary run of fighter production in the 1980s with the A-10 Thunderbolt II, the American Airpower museum is now housed in one of only 3 remaining hangars used to build P-47s, F-84s, F-105s, and A-10s. Republic is only a 45 minute trip from NYC by car or train. See our direction link for more information.
