The American Airpower Museum invites you to the Annual Holiday Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Join us for a delicious Pancake Breakfast in our historic Republic Aviation Hangar that we’ve decorated for the Holiday Season! Enjoy hot pancakes with butter, maple syrup, sausages and hot beverages and juices. You will be able to meet and greet with Santa for photos with kids and take a Flight line tram ride (weather permitting) around our outdoor displays and the historic Republic Airport Grounds. This year’s Breakfast is our normal daily admission at $15 for adults and $10 for children, includes admission and Tram Ride for families around the Hangar’s ramp, weather permitting.
There are three seatings to choose from at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 a.m. Ticketed reservations will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Join our breakfast fundraiser and support the Museum’s mission to preserve U.S. military aviation history and honor Veterans!
After your breakfast seating, you and your family can discover the history of aviation and explore dozens of exhibits, including America’s most famous WWII military aircraft the North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber, P-51D “Mustang”, Curtiss P-40M “Warhawk” (Flying Tigers), Grumman TBM-3E “Avenger” Torpedo Bomber and the Douglas C-47B “Skytrain”. You can also see Long Islands own contribution to aviation history with the Cold War era jets built by Republic Aviation such as the F-105 Thunderchief and A-10 Thunderbolt also known as the “Warthog” that were built right here at Republic Airport on our own museum grounds.
The American Airpower Museum is an aviation museum located on the landmarked former site of Republic Aviation at Republic Airport, Farmingdale, NY. The Museum maintains a collection of aviation artifacts and an array of operational aircraft spanning the many years of the aircraft factory’s history. The Museum is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Educational Foundation Chartered by the New York State Board of Regents.
